Areas covered range from individual English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh counties, towns, cities and provinces to maps of whole countries and continents and the whole world in both hemisphere and Mercator's projections. We also include early road maps, sea chards and railway maps in our portfolio. Our stock often features work by renowned 16th and 17th century mapmakers such as: JOHN SPEED , WILLEM BLAEU, JAN JANSSON, SEBASTIAN MUNSTER, ABRAHAM ORTELIUS, and GERARD MERCATOR, as well as quality work from later map makers like THOMAS KICHIN, EMANUEL BOWEN, JOHN TALLIS and THOMAS MOULE, to name but a few. With a wealth of professional contacts, we are able to source the best and most extraordinary cartograhpic creations and keep a stock of between 700 and 1500 maps. Prices vary according to age, scarcity and condition, and start from around £30. We do NOT sell modern reproductions of the maps and each map has its own CERTIFICATE of AUTHENTICITY as we guarantee all maps to be genuine and as dated.
