The Antique Map Shop , established 15 years ago by proprietor David Gardner, specialises in genuine antique maps from the early 16th to the late 19th Century.

The Antique Map Shop stocks in the region of 700 - 1000 items at any one time, and prices start from £28.00.

Original items of stock cover areas such as the English Counties through to World Maps, and all parts of the Globe.

Early items of stock include authentic examples from renowned cartographers such as Willem Blaeu (1571 - c.1646) and Jan Jansson (1596 - 1664). Later examples include catalogued map makers such as Thomas Moule (flourished 1822 - 1842) and John Cary (flourished 1783 - 1835).

The Antique Map Shop guarantees that all items are at least 100 years old.
